“The Soundtrack II: Representing Deep Blue” is the second album that I released with Cassidy (formerly Smoke Ninja) under the group name Whale Shark. As in the first Whale Shark album, every track is based on the soundtrack of various movies (and a couple of videogames). Each track is a huge update from the first album, and Cassidy’s rhyme skills improved significantly in this outing. This album was recorded in Seattle, Washington. My favorite tracks are “The Nightmare Before Christmas.,” “Jaws” and “Troy (Achilles remix).”
